Civil Defence Recruitment Requirements

To be considered for recruitment into the civil defence corps, candidates must meet certificate requirements such as:

  1. Be a citizen of Nigeria
  2. Be between the age range of 18-35 years
  3. Candidates must meet the minimum height requirements of 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.
  4. Male applicants must meet the minimum required chest measurement of 0.87m
  5. Have a minimum of 5 credits in WEAC, NECO or NABTAB examination in not more than 2 sittings for SSCE Holders
  6. Whilst OND, NCE and Degree holders must have lower credits or second class lower division from a recognized institution
  7. Degree holders must have their NYSC discharge or exemption certificates
  8. Applicants must be medically and physically fit to undergo the training exercise
  9. Candidates must be of good character
  10. Must be free from criminal record
