- Protestant church pastor three (3) positions
- Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) two (2) positions and

Requirements for NYS Recruitment in Kenya

- Be a citizen of Kenya
- Have in a valid Kenyan National Identity Card (ID) and Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN Certificate
- Meet the age range of 27-36 years
- Be free from any criminal record
- Applicants must be medically and physically fit
- Shortlisted Cadets MUST undergo NYS Paramilitary training for nine (9) months at the NYS Training College
- Applicants must meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.

- Divinity
- Islamic
- Arabic Studies (Jaami’iyah) or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Serving Senior Catechist/Anglican, a Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church with three (3) years’ work experience
- Have a Certificate of Ordination
- Have a Practicing License by the Government
- Have A letter of recommendation from the Head of Church or Mosque where the Church or Mosque must be under the umbrella of any of the following bodies:
- Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB)
- National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK)
- Evangelical Fellowship of Churches in Kenya (EFCK)
- East/West Africa Union of Seventh Day Adventist (EAU/WAU)
- Supreme Council of Kenya Muslim (SUPKEM)
- Applicants should be proficient in computer applications.
