Nigerian Army Recruitment Requirements
To be considered for recruitment into the Nigerian army, candidates must meet general requirements such as:
- Be Nigerian citizen
- Must have National Identity Card (NIN)
- Be between the age range of 18 – 22 for Non-tradesmen/women and 18 – 26 for tradesmen/women
- Candidates must have 5 credits in their SSCE exam including mathematics and English in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTAB
- Candidates must meet the minimum height requirements of 1.65 meters (for females) and 1.68 meters (for males)
- Applicants must be medically and physically fit
- Candidates must be free from criminal record
